Online learning has become an accepted, important component of the higher education landscape. Students of all ages, no matter where you live, can earn online degrees from some of the best institutions in the world. True, you might have to do a little research to find the program you want at the institution of your choice, at an affordable price.
But that’s why we’re here.
We’ve done the legwork (so to speak). There are hundreds of schools offering vast number of programs at undergraduate, post-grad and even doctorate levels. But this particular comprehensive list, in alphabetical order, is all about online bachelor programs and the universities and colleges that offer them. All are accredited. Scroll down and when you see something interesting, explore the site. Do your due diligence. Use this list as a starting point. You’ll see schools you might never have heard of, offering programs you like.
Remember, as overwhelming as this long list can be, you are not alone in wanting to earn a degree online. In 2013–2014, according to the U.S. Department of Education, there were 5,522,194 students enrolled in any distance education courses at degree-granting postsecondary institutions.
One note of caution, though. This website cannot vouch for the legitimacy of any accrediting agency. In doing the research that went behind this listing we made every effort to make sure the school was accredited. Major universities would never risk their accreditation by aligning with a shady agency. It was the smaller online-only schools (that you may never have heard of) that warrants your further investigation. Where a school offered an online undergraduate degree, but was not affiliated with an acknowledged accrediting agency, it did not make the list.
That said, there is an excellent array of great schools offering legitimate undergraduate degrees in the U.S. Enjoy your search. And good luck with your career.
